Reservations
A two-night minimum stay applies year-round. Please book early as our calendar fills quickly. Our 2023 season has limited availability remaining. We will reopen in June after a snowy winter and will remain open through September.
Reservation and Payment Information-Prices quoted are for single or double occupancy. An additional $30/night for the third person in a room will be added to the invoice. A deposit equaling one-night’s room rate plus tax is due at time of booking. Personal check, Traveler’s check, or cash are accepted methods of payment.
We do not accept credit cards. We are committed to keeping your personal information secure. Balance is due upon arrival.

Check-in is 4 p.m. or later. Check-out is 11 a.m. Let us know if you’ll be arriving after our 7 p.m. supper.
Although the Ghost Town Guest House is open only during the summer and fall, repeat guests who have become “family” are welcome all year. Book your Ghost Town Guest House getaway in St. Elmo early.
Room Tariff Your room rate includes afternoon refreshments, supper, and breakfast. Lunch is available upon request two days prior to arrival for an additional $7.50 per person.
Room rates Mary Murphy Room, $279 per night, single or double occupancy. This room can accommodate additional guests for $30/night per person. We delight in welcoming well-behaved children of all ages.
Gold Queen Room, $269 per night, single or double occupancy.
Boss Tweed Room, $259 per night, single or double occupancy.
Cancellation Policies
Thirty (30) days notice: Your deposit is fully refundable minus a $50 processing fee per room booked.
Less than thirty (30) days notice: Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days of arrival date will incur a full-stay charge unless we are able to re-book, in which case the deposit will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee per room booked.
If you have booked your stay for a holiday or local event, all cancellations are subject to a full-stay charge unless we are able to rebook, in which case the deposit will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee per room. All “no-shows” will incur a full-stay charge.
Your purchase of travel insurance will protect you in the event of unforeseen circumstances that cause you to change your plans.
Directions
From Colorado Springs, take Highway 24 west toward Buena Vista. At Johnson Village (two miles south of Buena Vista) turn left (south) by staying on Highway 285. Travel six miles to Nathrop, then turn right (west) onto County Rd 162. Remain on this road, regardless of how your GPS directs you. Some guests have been misdirected over a rough side road. As you enter St. Elmo, take the driveway on the left just before St. Elmo’s only stop sign. Guest parking is behind the Guest House.
From Denver, Take C-470 to US-285 at Morrison. Travel southwest toward Buena Vista. You will join Highway 24 before Trout Creek Pass. At Johnson Village, follow directions given above.
